Joan Canal

Joan Canal is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Associate General Counsel and Florida General Counsel at Devoted Health since November 2017, Joan previously held the position of Assistant General Counsel at Humana Inc from May 2011 to November 2017 and worked as Associate Counsel at Vitas Healthcare from April 2006 to April 2011. Joan earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Florida - Fredric G. Levin College of Law from 1997 to 2000 and holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English Language and Literature from the University of Miami, earned from 1993 to 1997. Joan completed general education at McArthur High School from 1989 to 1993.
