Quality Improvement Specialist Usaid- S4sipms Project at DevTech Systems

Halima Ya'u Nabara has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. From 2017 to present, they have been working as a Quality Improvement Specialist for DevTech Systems, Inc. on the USAID-S4SIPMS Project. In this role, they are responsible for participating in work planning and conducting monitoring and evaluation activities. Prior to this, they worked as a Regional Data Assessor and Survey Data Collection Specialist for the same project, where they conducted assessments and performed data entry and report writing.

In 2016, Halima worked as a Volunteer Staff for the Society for Women Development & Empowerment in Nigeria (SWODEN) on the Global Fund Project. And in 2009, they worked for the Civil Society for HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (CiSHAN) in two different roles. As Programs Manager (Home Based Care) on the Global Fund Round 9 Project, they focused on developing program implementation strategies and providing technical assistance to community-based organizations. As a Monitoring and Evaluation Officer on the Global Fund Round 5 Project, Halima played a key role in developing M&E plans, training M&E officers, and presenting reports at different forums.

Overall, Halima Ya'u Nabara has a strong background in quality improvement, monitoring and evaluation, and program management within the development and healthcare sectors.

Halima Ya'u Nabara pursued their education starting in 2014 at the Federal University of Technology Minna, where they obtained a Master's degree in Environmental Microbiology. From 2018 to 2019, they continued their education at Bayero University, Kano, where they earned a Master's degree in Health Economics.
