Nicole Herman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Nicole started their career as a Marketing and Circulation Planner at Restoration Hardware in 2006 and worked there until 2010. From 2009 to 2010, they co-founded and served as Vice President of the U.S. National Committee for UN Women - San Francisco Chapter. In 2011, they interned at The American Red Cross as a Digital Communications and Strategy Intern, and later that year, they interned at the Public Health Institute as a Global Health Policy Intern. From 2012 to 2015, they worked as a Specialist in Communications and Marketing at Grameen Foundation. In 2016, they joined Dexis Consulting Group as a Communications Manager at USAID's Center for Transformational Partnerships until 2017. Nicole then became an Independent Communications and Change Management Consultant at Dexis Consulting Group from 2017 to 2018. Nicole later became the Site and Communications Lead at USAID's Bureau for Management, Risk Management Team from 2018. In the same year, they joined DevTech Systems, Inc. as the Communications Team Lead for USAID Data Services, where they currently work.

Nicole Herman completed their Bachelor's degree in Communications at UCLA. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy with a focus on International Policy and Development at Georgetown University from 2010 to 2012.
