Pranshu Bansal has extensive work experience in the field of quantitative trading, computer science, and renewable energy. In 2022, they will begin working as an Incoming Quantitative Trading Analyst at DRW. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Cofounder of DeWaste, Inc., which uses computer vision and ML to generate insights to reduce waste at dining halls. During this time, they also served as a Quant Trader Intern at IMC Trading, where they conducted cross correlations analysis in the commodities markets and built a random forests classifier. In 2021, they were a Quantitative Trader Intern at Sherpa Systems 151, LLC, and a Quantitative Developer Intern at weTrade. In 2020, they were a Quantitative Trading Intern at Titan Securities Limited, a Cyber Security Summer Intern at the Gurugram Police Department in India, a CS70 Teaching Assistant (uGSI), Reader, and Data100 Tutor at UC Berkeley Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences, a Content Mentor and Junior Mentor, EE16A at Computer Science Mentors, and a Researcher at the Berkeley Energy & Climate Institute.

Pranshu Bansal graduated from Delhi Public School, Rohini in 2015 with a High School Graduate degree in Science and Commerce. Pranshu then attended Indira Gandhi National Open University from 2015 to 2018, earning a Bachelor of Commerce - BCom in Accounting and Finance. In 2017, they attended Harvard University for Summer School, earning a degree in Mathematics. Pranshu then enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley in 2018, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science - BS in EECS and is expected to graduate in 2021.
