Brian Byars

Brian Byars has extensive experience in education, management, and athletic coaching. Currently serving as Trustee President at DeWitt District Library and President of the DeWitt Education Association since July 2016, Byars has been a dedicated teacher in the DeWitt Public Schools since 1999, specializing in Chemistry and AP Chemistry, while also coaching wrestling and cross country. In addition to educational roles, Byars is a member of AB Management LLC, overseeing rental and small business operations, and has been involved with the Michigan Space Program as a board member. Previous positions include wholesaler for SweetandSourUSA and teaching Physical Science and Biology at Eaton Rapids Public Schools. Byars holds a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Sciences from Michigan State University.
