Alwyn Grant

Alwyn Grant has a diverse work experience that spans several industries and roles. Alwyn started their career in 2011 as a Caseworker Assistant at Urban Strategies, TASA, where they performed data entry duties and assisted with family care packages. From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a Respite Caregiver at Seaman's Society, providing guidance, after-school programs, and tutoring for assigned youth.

In 2016, Alwyn joined ABCO Facility Maintenance as a Service Dispatcher. Alwyn constructed daily schedules for technicians, performed data entry, and dispatched technicians based on location and skill level to ensure customer satisfaction. Alwyn then worked as a Dispatch Manager at Genuine Plumbing from 2017 to 2018, where they mentored employees, solved complex problems, and dispatched technicians throughout New York City.

Alwyn's next role was as an Accounts Receivable Representative at Roto-Rooter Plumbing and Drain Service from 2018 to 2020. Alwyn composed and organized billing data, balanced tender types, and prepared technician time-sheets.

In 2021, Alwyn became a Software Engineer Assistant at App Academy, where they prepared students for technical interviews, resolved bugs in portfolio projects, and provided insight into project planning and deployment options.

Most recently, Alwyn joined DexCare as a Software Engineer in 2022.

Alwyn Grant attended App Academy in 2021, where they studied computer software engineering. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2015, Alwyn pursued studies in computer and information systems security/information assurance at Keller Graduate School of Management.
