David Robertus

David Robertus has over 15 years of experience in the software engineering field, with a strong focus on quality engineering and automation. David is currently working as a Staff Engineer at DexCare since January 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Quality Engineering at Shutterstock from June 2022 to December 2022. Before that, they served as the SDM of Quality Engineering at Shutterstock from March 2020 to June 2022.

David has also worked at ReadyTalk as a Senior SDET from February 2013 to October 2015, where they developed frameworks for complex conference service technology. At Tendril, they held the role of Senior QA Automation Engineer from March 2012 to December 2012. David worked as a Software Engineer at McKesson Provider Technologies from February 2010 to May 2012, and as a Snr Software Engineer at Comcast from May 2009 to June 2010. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Engineer at Access Data Consulting Corporation from August 2008 to April 2009, where they implemented the Qwest Self Service Portal mapping component.

Earlier in their career, David held positions at Qwest Communications, DigitalGlobe, and Hart Intercivic. At Qwest Communications, they worked as a Snr Software Engineer from August 2008 to April 2009, where they created a GWT based application for the commercial customer self-service portal. At DigitalGlobe, they worked as a Contracting Software Engineer from October 2007 to August 2008. At Hart Intercivic, they served as a Senior Software Engineer from March 2006 to September 2007, where they worked on the Voter Registration system and made improvements in application scalability, custom XML import and export capabilities, and reporting server execution.

David Robertus attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Geography. David'sfield of study was primarily focused on Geography and Economics.
