David Roberts has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as an intern web developer at Innovate Software in 2009, where they developed web-based applications using ASP.NET, Java, XML, and SQL. After that, they worked as an application support developer at BSkyB from 2010 to 2012, developing web and mobile applications for internal customers.
In 2012, David joined Durham University as a PhD student, focusing on the evaluation of Direct Volume Rendering and signal processing. Their research involved studying how parameters in the rendering algorithm could introduce artifacts in the final image. David also conducted experiments to analyze the impact of these artifacts on accuracy during tasks with volume data.
After completing their PhD, David joined Pulsic in 2016 as a software engineer and later became a leading software engineer. David worked on developing and enhancing software solutions for the company until November 2018.
In 2018, David joined Geoteric as a senior research software engineer, where they contributed to the development of software solutions. David worked in this role until October 2022.
Currently, David is employed at Dexory as a senior C++ engineer, starting in October 2022. Their responsibilities in this role are not specified.
