Nikhil Prabhakar

Nikhil Prabhakar is a seasoned security professional currently serving as the Head of Security at Dezerv since December 2022, with a broad background in security roles across multiple organizations. Nikhil has been a Chapter Leader at The Open Security Community since January 2019 and previously worked at Thoughtworks as Lead Security Specialist and Senior Security Specialist from February 2020 to December 2022. Earlier experience includes positions as Lead Security Engineer at IGS and Senior Security Engineer at Fourthwall Security, focusing on web and mobile application vulnerability assessments, information security policy implementation, and PCI-DSS audits. Nikhil co-founded Combat Carnival and has held leadership roles in various organizations, including President of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell at MSRIT. Educationally, Nikhil holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Technology from Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
