Vinita Wagh is currently working as a Project Manager at Detroit Future City. Prior to this role, they worked as a Research Assistant at the same organization. Vinita also has experience as an intern at Systematica, where they studied New York City's street trees and parklands. They served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Dr. Bhanuben Nanavati College of Architecture and contributed as a writer at India Art n Design. Additionally, Vinita worked as an Architect and Parametric Designer at NEELESH CHOPDA ARCHITECTURE. They hold a Master of Science in Applied Urban Science and Informatics from NYU, an Erasmus Exchange degree in Architecture & Urban Planning from Politecnico di Milano, and both a Master and Bachelor of Architecture from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Mission: Through the shared vision of the Strategic Framework, Detroit Future City (DFC) is committed to advancing the quality of life for all Detroiters. Who We Are: DFC is a nonprofit charged with catalyzing implementation of the DFC Strategic Framework, a 50-year vision for the City of Detroit developed with input from more than 100,000 Detroiters. Our role is to steward equitable implementation of the recommendations made in the Strategic Framework through providing access and information to Detroiters, informing and guiding decision-makers’ initiatives and projects, and the coordination of a multitude of stakeholders.
