Israel Besigye

Israel Besigye is an experienced IT security professional currently serving as an IT Security Specialist at dfcu Bank since December 2022. Prior to this role, Israel held positions including Information Security and Business Continuity Manager at FINCA Impact Finance from March 2018 to November 2022, and IT Security roles with MTN in the South & East Africa Region from January 2015 to March 2018, as well as Regional IT Security for MTN IT Shared Services while working with Huawei. Earlier experience includes a Business Intelligence Specialist role and IT Officer for IN/OCS at Airtel Uganda. Israel holds a Master of Business Administration in Management from the University of the People, completed in 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Makerere University, awarded in 2015.
