Head Business Banking at dfcu Bank

Ronald Kasasa (RK) has a diverse and extensive work experience in the banking industry. Ronald currently serves as the Head of Business Banking at dfcu Bank since March 2017. In this role, they have successfully established and operationalized the Business Banking Department. Ronald has also introduced innovative measures such as an automated Credit Tracker to improve the credit process of the bank, and is currently leading the development of new lending products.

Prior to their current position, RK worked at Bank of Africa - Uganda, where they held the position of Head of Corporate Banking from July 2014 to January 2017. Before that, they served as an Assistant Manager in Corporate Banking at the same bank from March 2011 to July 2013. Ronald initially joined the bank in 2008 as a Relationship Manager in Corporate Banking.

RK started their career in the banking industry at Stanbic Bank Uganda, where they worked as a Business Banker from 2001 to 2003.

Ronald Kasasa (RK) has a diverse education history. In 1989 to 1992, they attended Ndejje SS and obtained their UCE degree, focusing on O levels. Ronald continued their education at the same institution from 1992 to 1995, completing their UACE degree in Sciences. Afterward, from 1995 to 1999, they studied at Makerere University, earning an Hons Degree in Bachelors of Science (Mathematics). In 2010, they pursued a Certificate in Effective Supervision at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies. In the same year, they also joined the Eastern and Southern Africa Management Institute (ESAMI) for an Executive Master's in Business Administration (MBA), specializing in Business Administration from 2010 to 2012. Later in 2017, they acquired a Certificate in Management and Leadership from Havard Manage Mentor. Finally, in 2018, they attended the Strathmore Business School for the CEO Apprenticeship Program and received a Certificate in Leadership.
