Ahmed Tawfik Aboukhadra

Ahmed Tawfik Aboukhadra is a researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since October 2021, focusing on hand-object pose estimation and 3D shape reconstruction utilizing advanced Deep Learning models such as RCNNs, Graph Convolutional Networks, and Transformers. Previous experience includes conducting a master's thesis on machine learning privacy attacks at CISPA Helmholtz Center for Information Security, improving a duplicate detection algorithm at HackerOne, and various teaching and assistant roles at academic institutions. Ahmed holds a PhD in Informatik from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau, a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence from Maastricht University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The German University in Cairo.
