Yingfang Ding is a PhD candidate and researcher at RWTH Aachen University, focusing on wafer-scale MOCVD of 2D transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC) on various substrates, as well as the fabrication of 2D (opto-)electronics. Previous experience includes an internship at Infineon Technologies where bonding and reliability measurement were conducted, and an internship at Huawei Deutschland working with compound semiconductors (GaN). Yingfang Ding also served as a research assistant at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, studying the dielectric properties of inkjet printed BST varactors and completed a master's thesis on the influence of particle size of barium strontium titanate on these varactors. Yingfang Ding holds a master's degree in Material Science and Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, two bachelor's degrees from Yunnan University in Accounting and Inorganic and Nonmetallic Materials Engineering, and is expected to obtain a Doctor's degree from RWTH Aachen University by December 2026.
