Mahdi Chamseddine is a skilled researcher currently affiliated with the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) since July 2019. Previous experience includes roles as a Product Engineer at John Deere, where Mahdi implemented SLAM algorithms and processed RADAR and camera data, and as a Master Thesis Student, focusing on detecting and tracking power cables using stereo vision. Supporting roles at John Deere also included an internship developing algorithms for particle filters and a research assistant position at DFKI, programming FPGAs for real-time data acquisition. Mahdi's academic background includes a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and a Bachelor of Engineering from the American University of Beirut. Additional experiences span software development, MATLAB example creation for neural network training, and teaching assistance in programming and electronics courses.
