Prof. Dr. Oliver Thomas

Prof. Dr. Oliver Thomas currently serves as the Scientific Director of the Smart Enterprise Engineering Research Group at the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) since April 2019. Simultaneously, Prof. Dr. Thomas co-founded Didactic Innovations GmbH in December 2017 and has been a shareholder, focusing on innovative education and training solutions as a spin-off of the University of Osnabrück and Saarbrücken. Additionally, since December 2010, Prof. Dr. Thomas has been the Founder and Shareholder of Strategion GmbH, and has held the position of Professor of Information Management and Business Informatics at the University of Osnabrück since September 2009. Educational qualifications include a Venia legendi in Economics, a Doctorate in Business Informatics, and a degree in Business Administration, all obtained from Universität des Saarlandes.
