Hima Bindu Cherukuru

Hima Bindu Cherukuru is an accomplished software engineering professional with a diverse background in technology leadership and development. Currently serving as Technology Co-Chair and Professional Development/Ignite volunteer at the DFW Alliance of Technology and Women and as a Software Engineering Manager at Capital One since August 2021, Hima also holds a position on the Advisory Board at the University of North Texas. Prior experience includes roles as Software Engineering Manager at Fannie Mae and Senior Software Engineer at iBizSoft Inc., along with foundational work as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services. Hima possesses extensive experience in Java/J2EE programming, specializing in application development with technologies such as Spring, JDBC, Hibernate, and MVC architecture, and demonstrates a strong understanding of Object Oriented Design concepts and Analysis. Hima Bindu Cherukuru earned a Master's degree in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas in 2010.
