Fred Smalley

Fred Smalley has extensive experience in the welding and quality management field. Fred has held roles such as Safety Director, Weld Quality Manager, Weld Program Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager at various companies such as D&G Machine Products Inc., Precision Fabrication & Inspection, Valmet, and RUBB Buildings Inc. Fred has a strong background in developing health and safety policies, implementing quality control environments, and managing welding programs for government contracts. Fred has also worked as a Design Engineer, performing drafting duties using CAD software.

Fred Smalley attended Sanford Regional Vocation Center from 1984 to 1986, where they obtained a 2-year certificate in Welding Technology/Welder. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications over the years, such as Certified Welding Inspector in 2006 and various Lead Auditor certifications in quality management systems.
