Jorge Guajardo

Jorge Guajardo is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in diplomacy, government relations, and communications. Currently serving as a Partner at DGA Group since April 2023, Jorge focuses on guiding clients in market entry and conflict resolution in Latin America and China. Previously, as Senior Director at McLarty Associates from September 2013 to March 2023, Jorge provided expert advice on U.S. relations. Jorge's tenure as the Mexican Ambassador to China from June 2007 to June 2013 marked the longest service in that role, where significant bilateral relations and trade negotiations were managed, alongside challenges such as the H1N1 flu epidemic. Additional roles include Mexican Consul General in Austin and Communications Director for the Government of Nuevo León. Jorge holds a Master's in Public Policy from Harvard Kennedy School and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.
