DGR Systems, a growing premier technology consulting company, is looking for a Senior Engineer with a focus on the Microsoft collaboration suite including SharePoint Online and Power Platform.

This individual will work with clients, partners, engineers, and the sales team to provide high-quality and tailored services to clients. This position requires an individual who is highly motivated, knowledgeable of best practices associated with the Microsoft Power Platform and Collaboration stacks, incessantly client-focused, and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute complex SharePoint Online migrations, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructures and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Design and implement robust SharePoint Governance frameworks to manage permissions, security settings, and information architecture, enhancing organizational compliance and data integrity.
  • Develop advanced SharePoint search solutions, optimizing search architectures and customizing search components to improve information retrieval and user experience across diverse organizational content.
  • Deliver expert-level consultation on the deployment of SharePoint Online environments, tailoring solutions to meet the unique requirements of each client, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Utilize Power Platform capabilities (Power Apps, Power Automate) to extend and enhance SharePoint functionality, creating custom workflows and forms that streamline business processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of client SharePoint environments to identify areas for improvement, optimization, and system upgrades, providing detailed recommendations and strategic roadmaps for implementation.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing by developing and delivering training sessions and documentation on SharePoint best practices, governance strategies, and advanced features to both internal teams and clients.
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams and business stakeholders to align SharePoint solutions with overall business strategies and objectives, ensuring technology implementations support critical business functions.
  • Act as a technical liaison between the business and IT, effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders to aid in decision-making processes.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest SharePoint developments, features, and best practices, integrating emerging technologies and methodologies to continually enhance service offerings.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff, guiding project execution and encouraging professional growth within the team.
  • Manage client expectations and deliver high-quality customer service, resolving issues swiftly and ensuring client satisfaction with implemented solutions.
  • Perform regular reviews and updates of SharePoint deployments to ensure they meet the latest security standards and compliance regulations, safeguarding client data and ensuring system integrity.
