Saied Mahmud Zubayer has extensive work experience in the financial industry, specifically in the capital market. Saied Mahmud has worked at the Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. since 2006, holding various roles with increasing responsibility. Saied Mahmud'smost recent role is as the Head of Issue Marketing, promotion, and Debt Market Development, where they are responsible for identifying potential areas for listing development, promoting products and market segments, organizing awareness programs and training, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop the ecosystem of the Capital Market. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Product and Market Development, Deputy General Manager, Division Head, and Assistant General Manager at the Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd. Saied Mahmud also has experience as a Chief Regulatory Officer and Manager in monitoring, investigation, compliance, and legal affairs. Before joining the Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd., Zubayer worked as an Executive in Finance and Accounts at the SAS Group from 2004 to 2005.

Saied Mahmud Zubayer has a diverse education history, starting with their Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from National University in 2013-2014. Saied Mahmud pursued further studies in finance, completing an MBA degree in Finance from the University of Chittagong in 2001 and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Finance & Banking from the same university from 1997-2000.
