BIG PICTURE:

We are looking for a Creative Ideas Associate to help write short, motivational video ideas at Dhar Mann Studios. This person is someone who can help to come up with ideas, write dialogue, create characters and develop storylines that teach important lessons for all demographics. This individual will be able to write in a very niche style that follows a certain formula which has enabled us to garner billions of views within a short time period. Each video is around 15-30 minutes of length, involves 10-20 actors, in-house studio sets and is intended for social media platforms primarily YouTube and Facebook.  Our Creative Ideas Associate should be very open to feedback as they may be asked to rewrite or make various versions of the scripts they are working on.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

• Develop ideas that are relatable and teach valuable lessons to our community
• Collaborate with production team to make sure scripts have a strong moral, resonate with our target audience and have minimal production complexities
• Analyze the performance of videos and make necessary adjustments to continuously improve scripts
• Come up with 5-10 new Pitches a week

WHAT YOU HAVE:

• A minimum of 2 years experience with screenwriting short script ideas/outlines

• Ability to write for all audiences, including younger age range

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Strong writing talent, as well as creativity, patience, self-motivation, and an understanding of the filmmaking process

• Possess the ability to work and collaborate with others

WHO OVERSEES YOU:

You will report directly to the Production Director

WHO YOU OVERSEE:

The Ideas Associate would report to the Ideas Manager. 

WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

All the action takes place at our studio in Burbank, CA! We also allow remote work for the right candidate!

WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm. 

AN IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE APPLYING TO US:

Our organization looks to hire the BEST of the best and we focus on finding candidates who are a strong cultural fit. We have a 3 month 'Discovery Period' in place that allows us to get to know each new hire better and assess their skill set. Management-level roles will be part of a different Discovery Period for each step of the ladder (but again this does not affect your pay or compensation package).
