Jared Christensen

Jared Christensen is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in front-end development and system modernization. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at DHI Group, Inc. since September 2013, Jared specializes in modernizing legacy systems and building new platforms using Next.js on AWS ECS with Fargate. Previous roles include various engineering positions at Blue Compass Interactive from March 2012 to September 2013, where Jared led front-end web development efforts, emphasizing aesthetics and user experience. Jared's career began as a Graphic Design Intern at McArtor Design, followed by roles in web design, interactive development, and Flash development at companies such as Meredith and Screenscape Studios. Jared holds an Associate in Arts degree in Commercial Art from Des Moines Area Community College.
