Thor Danielsen

Thor Danielsen serves as the Head of Wastewater at DHI since January 2024. Previously, Thor worked as a Sector Expert and Team Leader for Water (WTA EU) at the Embassy of Denmark in Poland from January 2022 to November 2023. At HOFOR A/S, Thor held significant roles, including leading digital transformation efforts for the Water Supply & Urban Drainage SBU and managing urban drainage and climate adaptation projects. Thor has been actively involved in various leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board for Young Water Professionals Denmark and a member of the Executive Committee of the International Water Association. Educationally, Thor holds advanced degrees in Geography and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School and the University of Copenhagen, complemented by studies in Earth Science at Montana State University-Bozeman.
