Felipe Gutierrez

Felipe Gutierrez has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Felipe is currently serving as the Medical Director at Urgent Care and also works as an Urgent Care/Family Medicine Physician and an Occupational Medicine Physician at DHR Health. Prior to that, they worked as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Starr County Memorial Hospital. Felipe also has experience as a Family Medicine Chief Resident at DHR Health. Felipe began their career as an NREMT-Paramedic at Acadian Ambulance and worked as a Critical Care Tech in the ER at Northeast Baptist Hospital.

Felipe Gutierrez completed their education with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Texas at San Antonio in 2008. Later, in 2011, they obtained a certification as an NREMT-Paramedic from UT Health San Antonio. From 2013 to 2018, Felipe pursued further education, earning a Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) from the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara.
