Ben Flint

Ben Flint is an experienced music educator with a strong background in jazz studies and performance. Currently serving as a teacher at Diablo Valley College since August 2012, Flint also has extensive experience at Berkeley City College as a choir director and jazz history teacher. Additionally, Flint has instructed classes at The Jazzschool and has been the organist and music minister at Second Baptist Church since 1995. Flint's previous roles include directing a jazz choir at the University of Memphis and performing as a keyboardist with the Isaac Hayes Band from 1989 to 2008. Flint's educational credentials include a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Electronic Music from Berklee College of Music.
