Steve Birrell

Steve Birrell has extensive experience in the technology and management consulting field. Steve is currently the Vice President of Engineering at Diaconia, a boutique consulting firm specializing in cybersecurity, process automation, data analytics, and IT modernization. Prior to their current role, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Delviom, LLC, where they developed and maintained cybersecurity solutions and supported business development initiatives. Steve also worked as the Senior Director of Technology at Omni Federal, where they executed large digital transformation projects for Air Force Software Factories and the Intelligence Community. Steve served as the Chief Solutions Architect at SAIC, leading the development of tools, technology, and solutions for Federal clients. Steve has also worked as an IT consultant at B-Tech Solutions, specializing in strategic planning, program/project management, cyber security, and data center design. Steve served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Solutions Architect at VERSA Integrated Solutions, managing technology engineering and operations and aligning IT strategies with client needs. Additionally, Steve has held positions as the Director of Network Engineering and Operations at O3B Networks, Director of Network Systems and Senior Network Architect at DBSD/ICO Global Communications, Manager of Network Planning and Engineering at Discovery Communications, and Manager of Network Engineering and Senior Systems Architect at Netconn Solutions Inc.
