Tope Akinsanya

Tope Akinsanya currently serves as the HR Director for Global Finance Digital and Business Operations at Diageo, a position held since September 2024. Prior to this role, Akinsanya worked as the Group Human Resources Director at East African Breweries PLC from October 2021 to August 2024, overseeing HR activities for one of Diageo's largest units in East Africa. Akinsanya's extensive experience includes a tenure at British American Tobacco, where roles included Human Resources Director and Head of Commercial HR, focusing on HR strategies across West Africa. Additional roles encompassed Head of HR Shared Services at Stanbic IBTC Bank and managerial positions at KPMG Professional Services. Akinsanya holds an MBA from the University of Leicester and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos.
