Michele McConnell, CDR PHR, is an accomplished HR and Talent Acquisition professional with extensive experience in managing workforce planning and recruitment processes across various industries. Currently serving as the Manager of Workforce Planning at Diagnostic Laboratory Services since August 2018, Michele oversees talent acquisition, outreach, and training initiatives. Prior roles include independent consulting in HR and Talent Acquisition, as well as leadership positions in human resources operations for the Hawaii State Department of Education, and talent acquisition management for Hilton Grand Vacations and Kaiser Permanente. Michele holds a BA in Economics with Departmental Honors from Gettysburg College and brings a strong commitment to connecting top talent with impactful career opportunities.

DLS is proud to be Hawaii’s largest locally-owned clinical testing laboratory with a team of 800+ dedicated professionals. Our Microbiology Lab is the only clinical laboratory in Hawai’i with the WASPLab, a highly advanced specimen processor. Our Core Lab features a chemistry automation line that is the largest of its kind in the state. It also utilizes mobile robots that efficiently deliver samples between processing stations. We know that when it comes to the wide variety of lab tests we perform, quick, accurate results and analyses improve health and save lives.
