John R. Gburek, MD, is an accomplished Interventional Pain Physician at Diagnostic Pain Center since September 2021. Prior to this role, John completed an Interventional Chronic Pain Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center from August 2020 to July 2021, and an Anesthesiology Residency at the same institution from July 2016 to June 2020. John has a strong research background, having worked as a Graduate Research Assistant in various capacities, contributing to studies on surgical techniques, prostate cancer treatment outcomes, and cardiovascular disease, among others. John earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2016, following a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology with minors in Nutritional Science, Bioethics, and Health Promotion from Michigan State University in 2010.
