Eric Shirk

Eric Shirk has a diverse work experience in the logistics industry. Eric started their career at YRC Freight in 1997, where they held various roles such as Distribution Center Operations Manager, Linehaul Manager, Labor Relations Manager, and Area Director of Operations. During their time at YRC Freight, they successfully managed operations, resolved labor disputes, and ensured compliance with regulations. In 2017, Eric joined XPO Logistics as a Service Center Manager. Eric then moved on to Forward Air Corporation in 2018, where they served as Director of Operations, overseeing multiple locations and managing delivery and install teams. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at Diakon Logistics, where they are responsible for the final mile locations across the continental United States. Overall, Eric has a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence in the logistics industry.

Eric Shirk attended Messiah University from 1992 to 1995, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics.
