Thosini Thalagala

Thosini Thalagala has a comprehensive work experience in the field of Quality Assurance. Thosini is currently working as the Head of Quality Assurance - Fintech Platforms at Dialog Axiata PLC since January 2023. Prior to this, Thosini served as the QA Lead at Axiata Digital Labs from April 2021 to January 2023, and as the Associate QA Lead from July 2019 to March 2021. Thosini also worked at Virtusa, where they held various roles including Senior Consultant - QA from January 2017 to July 2019, Consutant - QA in 2016, Senior Engineer - QA from July 2014 to December 2015, Enigneer - QA from January 2013 to June 2014, Associate Engineer - QA from May 2011 to December 2012, and Apprentice - QA from February 2011 to May 2011.

Thosini Thalagala completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Management of Technology from the University of Moratuwa in the years 2013-2015. Prior to that, Thosini earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Management Information Systems from University College Dublin between 2009-2011. Thosini also holds a Higher Diploma in Computer Based Information Systems from the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM) in Sri Lanka, which was completed in 2008. Earlier in 2007, Thosini obtained a Diploma in Computer System Design from the same institution. Thosini completed secondary education at K/ Panadura Balika Maha Vidyalaya, Panadura from 2003-2005 and primary education at K/ St. John's Girls School, Panadura from 1991-2002. In addition to the formal education, Thosini obtained certifications such as Certified SAFe® 6 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2023, Postman API Fundamentals Student Expert from Postman in the same year, Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance in 2022, Certified Tester Advanced Level - Test Manager (CTAL-TM) and Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL), both from ISTQB® - International Software Testing Qualifications Board in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
