Jie Zhou

Jie Zhou is an accomplished professional in sustainability innovation, currently serving as the International Engagement, Innovation & Lead at the Sino-UK Centre for Sustainability Innovation within the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL). Since joining CISL in 2021, Jie has played a pivotal role in launching The Canopy, an incubator for startups, and has designed accelerator programs to support innovative UK startups. Alongside current advisory roles at Undivided Ventures and Dialogue Earth, Jie has previously managed significant projects at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, focusing on circular economy education and collaboration with top Chinese universities. Jie's extensive academic background includes multiple master's degrees in sustainability, environmental planning, and economics from esteemed institutions, including the University of Cambridge and UCL, along with a certificate in Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School Online.
