Salman Azam

Salman Azam serves as the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at the Dialysis Care Center since June 2017, while also contributing as an Executive Board Member at the Downtown Islamic Center since June 2005. Previously, Salman held the position of Officer and Board Member at the National Association of Muslim Lawyers from September 2016 to February 2019, where significant efforts were made to revitalize the organization and initiate an annual convention for Muslim lawyers. As Managing Partner at Azam Chandran & Gilani LLP from September 2005 to June 2017, Salman focused on coordinating the Small Business Corporate Group. Additionally, from November 2008 to September 2012, Salman served as Past President of the South Asian Bar Association of Chicago. Salman also hosted a radio program on Radio Islam WCEV 1450 from March 2005 to June 2009. Educational qualifications include a B.A. in Political Science with a focus on International Relations from Loyola University Chicago and a J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
