Vivek Gupta

Vivek Gupta is the VP of Engineering at Diamanti. Prior to joining Diamanti, they were the Sr. Director of Development at Veritas Technologies LLC from June 2014 to September 2020. While at Veritas, they led the NetBackup development team of 200+ in Pune and was responsible for the backup/restore of VMWare, Hyper-V, RH Virtualization (KVM), MongoDB, Cassandra, AzureStack, Nutanix, OpenStack, NAS, Deduplication to Cloud, telemetry, Security and Core Netbackup areas. Vivek delivered 3 content rich NBU releases while improving product supportability which included support for following new workloads: OpenStack, Azurestack, MongoDB, Nutanix, Redhat Virtualization, and D-NAS. These new workloads will drive the revenue growth towards $1B.

Prior to their time at Veritas, Gupta was the Senior Manager at Veritas Software India PrivateLimited from January 1995 to December 2004. Vivek started their career as a Contractor (Sr. Engineer and Software Specialist) at Sun Microsystems from November 1992 to June 1995.

Vivek Gupta has a ME in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and a BE in Electronics and Power Engg from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology. Vivek also has a certification from LinkedIn in Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership.
