Mark Rand

Mark Rand is currently the Director of Procurement at Diamond Assets. Prior to that, they were with Pearson from June 2014 to September 2014 as the Account General Manager. There, they represented Pearson Education to K12 education institutions and served as their primary point of contact. Mark managed a team of specialists and contractors to assist in providing the best instructional materials, online resources and professional services to the public school districts they served. Before Pearson, Mark was with Apple from October 2014 to August 2017 as the Field Account Executive for K-12 education institutions in Northeast Texas. There, they provided access to key resources within Apple including Professional Development, Professional Services, Financial Services and AppleCare in addition to class-defining products like Mac and iPad. Mark worked directly with district superintendents, technology directors, curriculum leaders and administrators to determine how this ecosystem of products and services could transform their learning environments and improve teaching and learning in the classroom.

Mark Rand received a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University. Mark is certified by the US Green Building Council - South Florida Chapter in LEED AP and by the Boy Scouts of America in Eagle Scout.

They are on a team with Kelly King - VP. Business Development, Enterprise, Keith Schmidt - Chief Revenue Officer, and Aimee Budres - Chief Human Resource Officer. Mark Rand reports to Diamond McKenna, CEO.
