Program Manager at Diamond Communications

Joe Sweet has worked in the telecommunications industry for over 20 years. Joe began their career in 1997 as an Area Manager of Network for AT&T, where they were responsible for real estate site acquisition, zoning, permitting, leasing, site selection, budgeting, vendor management, construction management, OEM integrations with Alcatel-Lucent and Nokia, project close out, T-1 coordination, new cell site on air turn ups, and growth projects. Joe then moved into a System Development Manager role, where they were responsible for site acquisition, real estate, construction, zoning, leasing, permitting, site selection, utility coordination, data fill coordination, telco/power coordination, and regulatory compliance. Joe then became a Real Estate Manager-Site Acquisition, where they managed vendors and self performed in house site identification, evaluation, selection, leasing, architecture and engineering drawings for leasing, zoning and construction. Joe also negotiated leases and option agreements, as well as filed for zoning/permitting and attended zoning, planning, and special board meetings. In 2015, they moved to Elite Towers, LP as a Project Manager. Most recently, they have been a Program Manager at Diamond Communications LLC since 2017.

Joe Sweet obtained their High School Diploma from La Salle Academy in 1987. Joe then attended Johnson & Wales University from 1991 to 1994 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. In 2011, Joe Sweet obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. In 2015, they obtained a CPR certification and in 2017, they obtained an Agile Project Management certification from LinkedIn.
