Nefi A. Barron H.

Nefi A. Barron H. currently serves as the ITR Lead Application Engineer at GE Vernova, focusing on power plant upgrades for aeroderivative turbine-based facilities. Prior experience includes roles at GE Renewable Energy as Control Configuration Lead Engineer, where leadership of an international engineering team for software releases was a key responsibility, and at GE Aviation as LM2500 Control Systems Product Owner, overseeing a 5-year technology plan. Nefi also has experience in academia as an Associate Professor at Instituto de Ingeniería de la UNAM and has held engineering and quality coordination positions in various companies. Nefi holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering focused on Control, Automation, and Hydraulics from Instituto Politécnico Nacional and is currently pursuing a Master's in Engineering Project Management at CIATEQ.
