David Lewanda has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. David is currently the Director of Software Engineering at Diamond Kinetics, where they lead the engineering efforts for the Product Development team. In their role, they work closely with senior executives to create an engaging roadmap for a new product experience.

Prior to their current position, David has held several leadership roles at Major League Baseball. As the Director of Software Engineering, Mobile Platforms, they oversaw a team of developers working on a scaled app development model. David was responsible for mobile application architecture, shared component governance, and mobile DevOps and SRE.

David also served as the Principal Engineer and Lead iOS Developer for the MLB App, At Bat. David was responsible for coordinating development efforts and delivering a top-rated app for live baseball.

Before their time at MLB, David worked at Samsung NEXT as a System Architecture Consultant and Principal Software Engineer. David played a key role in architecting backend systems and managing development teams.

Additionally, David has experience working at Birchbox as a Senior Software Engineer and at Samsung as a Senior Staff Software Engineer.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Connectify, Nomadio, Harris Corporation, and L-3 Communications, gaining experience in leading development projects and mentoring junior engineers.

David started their career as a Research Assistant at Lehigh University, where they worked on developing a software framework to support customized search engines and improving query results.

Throughout their career, David has demonstrated strong technical skills and a track record of delivering successful products.

David Lewanda holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering, which they obtained from Lehigh University in 2003. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering at the same institution in 2002. In addition to their formal education, David has also obtained several certifications related to various topics such as leadership, agile software development, and iOS app development.
