Principle Beamline Scientist: Hexi at DIAMOND LIGHT SOURCE LIMITED

Alistair Siebert is a highly experienced scientist with a focus on electron microscopy and beamline technology. Currently serving as the Principal Beamline Scientist for HeXI and Principal Electron Microscopist at Diamond Light Source since June 2015, Alistair has previously held the positions of Senior Electron Microscopist and Senior Staff Scientist at the University of Oxford from November 2009 to June 2015. Prior to that, Alistair gained valuable research experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the New York Structural Biology Center from January 2007 to October 2009 and at the University of Basel's Biozentrum in 2005. Alistair earned a PhD in 2004 and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry in 2000, both from The University of Sheffield.
