Cecilia Sanchez-Hanke

Cecilia Sanchez-Hanke is a seasoned professional in the field of physics, currently serving as the Scientific Operations Coordinator at Diamond Light Source since November 2013. Prior to this role, Cecilia held positions as the Group Leader at BNL, where responsibilities included designing and managing the Coherent Soft X-ray and full Polarization control Beamline for NSLS-II. Experience also includes a postdoctoral role at Brookhaven National Laboratory from 1998 to 2013 and training as a Ph.D. student at HASYLAB/DESY from 1995 to 1998, focusing on storage rings and x-ray applications. Cecilia earned a Doctorate in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
