James Beilsten-Edmands

James Beilsten-Edmands is an accomplished Senior Software Scientist at Diamond Light Source, where, since August 2017, core algorithm development for the collaborative open-source DIALS software has been a primary focus, facilitating scientific data analysis in structural biology. Previously, James served as a Tutor for the Quantum, Atomic and Molecular Physics course at Jesus College Oxford, delivering tutorials to third-year undergraduates. Academic credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Condensed Matter Physics and a Master of Physics (MPhys) from the University of Oxford, alongside foundational education at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield.
