Kieran Fowell

Kieran Fowell is a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the field, currently working at Diamond Light Source since November 2020 and previously at STFC from August 2019 to November 2020. Prior to these roles, Kieran gained valuable experience at WILSCO Motors as an employee and served as an engineering demonstrator at the University of Hull, assisting in practical demonstrations of design technologies to fellow students. Kieran also led the FABLAB student committee at the University of Hull, overseeing the additive manufacturing facility and ensuring the proper functioning of 3D printing equipment. Kieran's career began at M.E. WILLIS (SALES & HIRE) LIMITED, where a combination of roles included sales assistance, repair mechanic, and warehouse management. Kieran holds a Master of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hull, completed in 2018.
