Sonia Taneja

Sonia Taneja is a Senior HPC Engineer and Computer System Administrator at Diamond Light Source since September 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Technologist and Research Fellow at INFN-CNAF from March 2013 to November 2018, where support was provided for the CMS experiment. Sonia has held various research scholarly positions across several institutions, including IMT Lucca Institute for Advanced Studies, University of Pisa, and Scuola Normale Superiore, focusing on topics such as formal theories, cloud computing, and data analysis in the context of Grid platforms. Sonia obtained a PhD from IMT Lucca and has contributed to projects related to autonomic service-component ensembles, software engineering for service-oriented overlay computers, and the development of Grid tools for CMS. Sonia started the professional journey as an Apprentice at the National Physical Laboratory from February 2005 to January 2007.
