Sudeep Chatterji

Detector Scientist at DIAMOND LIGHT SOURCE LIMITED

Sudeep Chatterji is a highly experienced Detector Scientist at Diamond Light Source since July 2014, focusing on the maintenance of spectroscopy detectors for various beamlines. Prior to this role, Sudeep served as Scientific Staff at GSI Helmholtz Centre for Heavy Ion Research from October 2008 to June 2014, where responsibilities included the development of low noise rad-hard DSSDs and analog readout cables for the Compressed Baryonic Matter experiment. Sudeep's expertise also includes a postdoctoral position at the University of Bonn from May 2007 to October 2008, contributing to the ATLAS upgrade for the Super-LHC with a focus on hybrid pixel detectors and a new powering scheme known as "Serial Powering." Sudeep Chatterji holds a Ph.D. in Experimental High Energy Physics from Delhi University, completed in 2006.
