R. Matt Price

R. Matt Price has extensive work experience in the legal field. R. Matt started their career as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney at the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office in 2007 before moving on to become an Assistant Circuit Attorney at the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Office. In 2008, they joined the United States Attorney's Office as an Assistant United States Attorney, where they handled a high-volume caseload and successfully tried numerous jury trials. In 2011, Price became an Adjunct Professor at The University of Memphis. R. Matt then joined FedEx Express as a Senior Attorney, where they played a key role in defending criminal charges against the company and led compliance and integrity-related projects. Price later served as the Lead Counsel for Compliance, Investigations & Government Litigation at FedEx Express, overseeing internal investigations and managing global compliance projects. In 2014, they joined the City of Germantown as the Chief Prosecuting Attorney, managing a large caseload and overseeing a team of assistant prosecutors. Price then worked at Walmart as a Senior Counsel and Managing Counsel, where they directed complex investigations and led workstreams related to government inquiries. R. Matt is currently serving as the Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Diamond Pet Foods.

R. Matt Price began their education at St. Pius X from 1993 to 1997, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. R. Matt went on to attend Colgate University from 1997 to 2001, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History/Political Science. In 2002, they enrolled at Northeastern University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Criminology by 2003. Finally, from 2003 to 2006, R. Matt Price attended Saint Louis University School of Law, where they earned their Juris Doctor degree with a focus on Criminal Law.
