Samuel Matekha

Samuel Matekha has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Samuel is currently serving as the Head of Marketing and Communication at Diamond Trust Bank since July 2021. Prior to this, from August 2014 to June 2022, they worked as the Marketing and Communications Manager at KCB Uganda.

Before joining KCB Uganda, Samuel held the position of Head Products and Public Relations at Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited from April 2008 to August 2014. Samuel also worked as a Public Relations Officer at Diamond Trust Bank Uganda from April 2008 to August 2013.

In their early career, Samuel was a Producer at KFM Monitor Publications from September 2007 to March 2008. Samuel began their professional journey as a Senior Journalist at Radio Simba in July 2001, where they worked until September 2007.

Samuel Matekha completed their education with a Master's Degree in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs from Makerere University, where they studied from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, they had obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from the same university, attending from 1998 to 2002. Samuel's education journey started at Nabumali High School, where they obtained an Advanced Certificate Education in HIstory, Economics, and Literature from 1996 to 1998.
