Becky Klein

Becky Klein is an experienced professional currently serving as Director at both Diamondback Energy and SJW Group since June and December 2021, respectively. As the Founder and Board Director of the Texas Energy Poverty Research Institute since May 2015, Becky has demonstrated a strong commitment to addressing energy issues. Additionally, Becky holds a Director position at Avista Corporation and has been the Principal at Klein Energy LLC since 2006. Previous roles include Board Chairman and Vice Chairman at LCRA from October 2007 to June 2013, Chairman at the TX Public Utility Commission from July 2001 to January 2004, and serving in the White House as part of Personnel from 1989 to 1992. Educational accomplishments include an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, an MA in National Security Studies from Georgetown University, and a JD from St. Mary's University School of Law.
