Ben Ragsdale

Ben Ragsdale is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as Vice President of Planning and Reserves at Diamondback Energy since December 2018. Ragsdale has held several key positions within the company, including Corporate Planning and Reserves Manager and Reservoir Engineering Supervisor. Prior to joining Diamondback Energy, Ragsdale worked at Energen for nearly a decade, advancing through roles such as Reservoir Engineering Supervisor for the Midland Basin and Senior Reservoir Engineer. Ragsdale began a career in reservoir engineering with Energen, starting as a Reservoir Engineer in both the Permian and San Juan Basins. Ragsdale holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Alabama.
