Connor McKown

Connor McKown is an experienced drilling engineer currently working at Diamondback Energy since September 2024. Prior to this role, Connor held various positions at Endeavor Energy Resources, LP from May 2016 to September 2024, including drilling engineer, senior completion engineer, reservoir engineer, and lease operator, where responsibilities included maintaining production, routine maintenance on equipment, and collaboration on an accounting project with the CEO. Earlier experience includes a technical service engineer internship at NCS Energy Services in 2014, assisting with sleeve installs, and a shop hand role in 2013, which involved frac sleeve assembly. Connor also contributed to engineering projects during an internship at NCS Energy Services that included poster presentations on fracturing techniques. Connor earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2016.
